Privacy policy
Last updated:
FarmTrack is operated by Technologies Kelpr.
Data we collect
Account: email address and password (encrypted, never visible to us). Profile: display name and optional profile photo. Farm: name, address and geographic coordinates. Fields: boundaries drawn on the map, area, crop and status. Agricultural activities: sowing, fertilizer, treatments, irrigation and harvests — dates, quantities and notes you enter. Photos added to your posts or profile. Technical data: push notification token (if enabled) and device type. Diagnostic data (Sentry) when an error occurs in the app.
Why we collect this data
To provide the core features (field tracking, weather and reports), let you share with friends if you choose to enable sharing, send the notifications you have chosen to enable, and diagnose and fix bugs.
Who we share this data with
We never sell your data. Some service providers process data on our behalf: Supabase (hosting, database and authentication), Mapbox (maps and address geocoding), Open-Meteo (weather data — no personal data transmitted), Resend (transactional emails), Expo/EAS (push notifications and app updates) and Sentry (crash and diagnostic reports).
How long we retain your data
As long as your account exists. You can delete it at any time from Settings > Profile > Delete my account — your farm, fields, journal and posts are then permanently deleted.
Your rights
Under Law 25 (Quebec) and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
Children
FarmTrack is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. Important changes will be communicated to you in the app.
